Therefore I, a prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you were called – with complete humility, gentleness, with patience, putting up with one another in love, making every effort to keep the unity of the Ruach (Spirit) in the bond of shalom (peace). (TLV) Ephesians 4:1-3 Nosh: In Scripture, humility in leaders, and for that matter every believer, is the first and foremost quality God desires to see developing in our lives. Humility sweetens and makes more intimate our relationship with God. Humility also facilitates the other desirable qualities listed in this verse that are necessary to serving our brothers and sisters in Yeshua. Without humility, ministry success is hard to find.
